HI prep4usmle..... Still I am confusing about setting.. . .In previous setting there is an option of find posts(1day,week,month,yr & all)--->GO..in both front page & when checking any post...with this I got a rapid new post....Now in this setting there is an option of find all topics but still it does't show all new posts....& I also try by using sort option... I have post 6 posts today but only receive 1 post in the front page...(Q27) the remainnig posts are not appeared in front page(Q28,29,30,31,32)....I also correct the GMT time zone at 5+.... Another problem is that when checking the any post there is no way to go back to same forum page....which option is used for that???? Since morning I have only post the topics without their appearance on the front page.... By using View new posts on top of the page it show all new posts(any subject)....at that page I have seen my posts with no reply....

Hi, The option you refer is not used yet in this new program. You can sort topics by recent posts on forum page but not by specific time periods, maybe in the next version ... You might have to clear your cookies to fix the display problems, I am not sure how you filter the topics. Regards!

To ssrpk: Sorry, GMT settings are bugging me too. Made some changes on admin panel and it works fine for me. To SDK: I believe there was a bug with some filters (unanswered/with 10+ replies) and I removed them to prevent similar problems in the future. Once you clear your cookies you should not have any problems now. Thanks for letting me know. To Dev: I'll put some of the smiles back in few days. Sorry, there are no default font settings for every member, you'll have to change the fonts when you post a message. And yes, I need to adjust too to the new program, hope it will be more secure than the previous one (we got hacked few weeks ago) Regards!

Hi Prep Thanks for the update. I'm a bit stuck on how to see posts that have been created/updated since I last logged on. Before these posts used to have a yellow coloured page icon on the left hand side, and I could jump to the forums straight from the Step 1 main page. Now I'm not sure how to do that. When I refresh the page, it doesn't update which topics I have read. Also, before I could tell which forums had been posted on since I last checked, but I'm not sure how to do this now. Thanks for your help. Moc

Moctopod, the new forum does not have the function (yet) of tracking the messages you read, it shows topics as old or updated since last login and if you click on the icon before the topic title it takes u to the last post. SDK, if you are using internet explorer, click tools > internet options > clear cookies Regards!

I'm also having a problem. When I sign on and click on view new posts since I last logged on, if I then access a topic I have to sign on again to post. Last time I logged in, I had to sign on again lots of times. Do you know how I can rectify this? Thanks a lot

SDK, sorry for the problem you have. It might work if you please click on this link that will clear all filters from physiology forum. If not please save the forum page you have problems and sent it to me through private messaging. Try to follow the instructions from ssrpk too. Moctopod, I cannot reproduce the log off thing when clicking on new posts, sorry, I don't know why you have this problem and I don't know how to fix it. Will report it on the forum software developers today. Best wishes!

Hi.... still same problem after using link.... I like 2 things in this new setting.. 1)View new post at top of the page beside inbox...that's great to deal with all forums... 2)After posting new post...directly reach to same post with quick reply..... thnx for prep4usmle to generate these 2 things in this new setting.....
