Hi everyone, I have been a clandestine reader of the forum since preparation for the CS, I check the OASIS-IWA trick today and I passed, I am soooooo happy!!!! I want to thank everybody in the forum, It has been so helpful for me.
I took my exam on March 20th in Phili and study 1 month for the exam with FA book that I found very useful.
Now I have an important question:
How much does it take to have the ECFMG certificate number???

Congrats MAR!
For ecfmg certificate: Check oasis ..click on "medical credentials verification" option.
See what it says, if it says your final diploma and final medical school transcripts are verified and received then you dont need to do anything and just wait for some days, you will get it soon.
I havent got my cert yet becuase they only got my diploma verified and received because i didnt send my transcripts to them. So i sent final transcripts and photos to them. I called them, they havent sent my docs to my med school for verification. Once they send it it will be up to my med school, howlong they would take for its verification.

FA stands for the First Aid book which is really good, I am reading from it, too, and I find it very useful. It is the only one where they really discuss the cases, why they're thinking of the dd's that they're considering and why they're thinking of the tests included in the work up. I have all the books, and I even had a subscription to uw, and FA is what I found the most useful!

Thanks Sar for answering so soon, I checked OASIS and they say that my medical credentials are received and verified so I will wait for the certification number. Its so great to be done with this USMLE torture!!
