I don't have a very clear understanding of how conjugation works. if HFR is transmitting genes over to F-, where in the circular DNA does it break and start? is there a specific point? I ran across a practice problem, where the first gene transfered from HFR is OriT. How was I supposed to know that the circular DNA would break there? Does it always start with OriT?
