I am lost to study this subject ,I tried in kaplan but it was not working for me. I am reading now BRS , it is easier , but a lot a lot of information , I am not sure how i should study ,I cannot stand this biochemistry!!!

read from kaplan but also listen to the lectures by dr.lionel.....one of the best books by kaplan!

yes,go for hearing lectures,side by side view the kaplan lectures.this will make the subject a bit more palatable.
u can also try ur hands on the q in some subject based test,so that will do the trick.

but where do I get these lectures?
I just have the book. I am going on with BRS , still fighting against it , but at least i can read it and understand 90% of what I am reading .

My advice for anyone studying biochem who hasn't done it in a while, is to definitely get the Kaplan lectures by Dr Lionel...this man is amazing, i think he is the Goljan of biochem. I didnt want to spend money on Kaplan lectures, and struggled to get through just on the Kaplan lecture notes without the actual lectures...and believe me it was a struggle. With the actual lectures, biochem really becomes a lot easier, not to mention mastering the molecular biology!! It REALLY helps with understanding!

hi,
i have kaplan and lipincott for biochem. i'm satisfied with them.
try to study kaplan and lipincott together.
many things unclearing in kaplan are better described in lipincott, but kaplan is better for guiding you. lipincott has nice pictures, graphs and text you'll easy understand.
kaplan is better for survey.

I really dont think anyone will send those big videos to you fellows. Kaplan offers a live video prep course,maybe he figures in there.
I have my copy but its enormous in size! I do not think emailing it would be feasible [or possible in a single lifetime]
