dear all,
i am an IMG , i did step 2 with excellent results and i have step 1 on 29th june, i had difficult times in the last 2 months so i have less than 2 months time remaining. i have studied half of the books only once up to the moment.. i feel i lost control on my studying plan .. if i have a chance what should i do ??or should i postpone the exam???

I think you should take NBME, or the kaplan simulated and you can see were you are. I think normally only after half a reading most of us would not be ready,but since you took step 2 already. Its may be possible to do in two months, just depending on what you are scoring. Dont rush the process. GOOD LUCK!

you did not mention your eligibility period.if it ends by june extension will
lead to shelling out money from ur pocket.else it can wait till 20 june.
what i suggest,make aplan so that you finish one reading of all,maybe by 20 may.side by side start doing q on subjects u have done once.
then go for a 2reading,try to complete it in as less time as possible.
presently concentrate only on this.if you feel,by mid june that yuo are not prepared,then go for an extension,else no need.
i believe doing nbme at present will lead to poor scores& low morale as u have not finished 2 reading.
go for nbme 1 after 1 reading,2 after 2 reading.the scores will definately give u an idea about ur prep.
