hi forum members. thanks to all for their support. i didnt actively participated in the forum activities but used it often to clarify my doubts. i started studying for step 1 in november.after getting 79 from step 2 i was kinda depressed and also my marriage was in december . but as they say there r somethings in life that r meant to be done , no matter what.
anyways , so i prepared from november to march. in march i took exam at bethesda. the exam was similiar to kaplan q bank online, but slightly more tough.
in my exam pathophysiology was tested very much. and another subject tested heavily was molecular biology. i had almost all the graphs of physiology and some from pharmacology. pathology ques were framed almost same as in kaplan s . in anatomy i got ct scan identification of structures related to ques. and to identify artery in arteriogram in neuro cases. in pharma mostly side effects were asked. micro was easy. the most tough part was immunology , molecular biology and biostat. in my exam i got very less biochemistry. behavioural was fine. typical cases typical responses. so very do able. molecular biology and genetics were the toughest part of exam. every 4th ques seem like from molecular bio. and it was kinda tough to understand in some ques about what r they tryin to ask. genetics too i found rather tough.

when i came out of hall after exam, i was feeling that i didnt did so well. my second block was most tough. most of ques were 6 to 9 lines stem.
i usually was able to finish blocks 2 minutes ahead of time but had to no time to review what i did. in one or two blocks i did tried to see how much am i marking as marked and how much am i sure of that my response is 100 percent right. and i found that 25 out of 50 were 100 response while usually 10 to 14 were marked as marked items.
i think there were atleast 25 question in exam of which i had no idea what am i being asked even after reading q stem again and again.
i tried to recall the ques i got and recalled 190 ques. and found eventually that out of that 120 r right and 15 were surely wrong. rest of ques i had no idea coz i was not able to recall q stem properly or i was not sure which response i marked.
i got my score after 4 weeks when i was enjoyin vacation at hawaii. i got 93 in step 1.
last but not the least, i would like to thank my wife for being always a source of inspiration and motivation for me. its for her love and faith in me that enabled me to crack the exam in a good way.

So now u r have only the step 2cs to take care of and I am sure it will be a piece of cake for u.

congrats dr. singh for great score in step1. now you can relax. step2 cs only hurdle left. when you are appearing for step2 cs. please share your cs exam. expe. with us as you did on step1. it was very informative.
I passed step2ck, score is expected by next week. now started preparing for step1,going to appear in sept.
