I dont have the answer to this but I think its anorexia nervosa also.......but why cant cant conversion disorder be the ans?? does anyone know??

  #5

6- major depressive disorder

its not anorexia nervosa because the patient normally does not accept that they have a disorder. but this girl sees that something is wrong with her and she feels guilty about it. its not conversion disorder because in this type of disoder there is a lack of concern and the patients says "i guess i have to live with it."

  #6

I go with major depressive disorder.

As far as anorexia- food is only mentioned once in this vignette although she lost 17 pounds.(She is not saying shes fat or overweight)
As for conversion in this case there is no evidence of a stressor.
