a female Anopheles mosquito injects a single sporozoite of Plasmodium vivax into the blood stream of susceptible human host.shizogony in the liver requires ten daysand produces 100 merozoites per hepatocyte .Shizogony in the blood produces 10 merozoites per Erythrocyte. How many merozoites will be produced in 22 days of infection?

I understand how they calculate the answer but I dont understand in the explanation the mentioned vivax does not repetitively infect hepatocytes???
