To all of you cramming out there, know this: I m an IMG, i graduated 5 ys ago, that means i studied this material 12 ys ago. yet, i have preped for 2 monthes to this exam, during working a full time job, from First Aid (the most valuable antidote against this test) and NMS question book (17 exams). thats all. the filling through exam was terrible, i felt as though i know nothing. a lot of guessing adn to little "sure" questions (not like in the prep exams). but still, as u see the final result, the score does not coorelate to the filling, just to level of your knowladge. So, my main massage to you is: DONT PANIC ! the exam is duable ! it is meant for avarage people and not for geniuoses. Learn as much as u can, and do your best, it should suffise in most cases. Good luck to u all, Curve

Doc, I d say FA (i studied from 2003) covers about 70% of the Qs, another 20% are just not answerable (some of them i didnt manage even to understand what they r asking), and 10% are covered in more comprehensive books. i didnt do any simulated test. just review test book of NMS. Good Luck Curve

I didnt used Kaplan or Goljan since i leave abroad (we dont have these books/audios here). i used FA as the stem, and fine tunning for bioch and pharm from more comprehensive books. did 17 review exams (from NMS book) and thats it. In my opnion, the core of your prep is to master the FA completely (know it by heart) and a lot of Qs from books, websites etc. Good Luck Curve

Ren, If i m not mistaken, the purpose of the sclae or curve is to elliminate any timing bias or group bias on the results. in more simple wards i dont think the exam timing has influance on the score. Good Luck Curve
