patient 55 years with one left lung due to being performed a right pneumonectomy on 13th December 1973(cacinoid adenoma)
Since that time it ok uless flue or cold which lasts for 4 7 days .x-Ray done yearly. patient running normal life.
for the last 3 monthes noticed having weezing and little cough with light green or yellow sputum. X-ray was taken on 27 1 2005 the result follow:
-compansatory hyper inflation of the left lung with mild increased broncho-vascular marking
-clear both apices
-clear intact lleft lateral and posterior costo-phrenic angles
-clear retrocardiac and retrosternal spaces
-normal cardiac size and configuration with normal cardio-thoracic ratio
Test Lab:
-Sputum for AFB smear and cluture
-sputum granstain and culture/ sensitivity
Lab Result:
-moderate pus cells
scanty epithelial cells
moderate gram positive cocci
scanty gram negative bacilli
culture:................ normal upper respiratory flora including
organism comment
Hain Haemophilus influenzae moderate growth

Antibiotic Hain
ampicillin I
amoxicillin/ca R
azithormycin S
clarithromycin S
S:sensitive R: resistant I inermediate
Doctor gave me the following: on 7th April 20054
Seretide 250 twice a day each 12 hours
Avalox( moxifloxacin 400mg once a day for 14 days
telfast 120 for 14 days
still on seretide 250 but still have 20% of phelgm( light green sputum small once or twice but no cough temprature is normal puls 75 BP 14/85
no swating leading normal life.
HOW CAN I STOP THIS SUTUM pLEASE
