finally......i can post in this forum.....was waiting so long for this day!!!!!!! 
well one thing is good.....whatever the result ,step 1 is behind me .
well,like everyone says,its doable.
majority stuff patho.
dr goljan is the key ...audio and review and 36/100 pages......no doubt.
everything was tested just the way ppl have been saying ...lots of physio,endocrino,pharmac.
first aid stuff for biochem,genetics.
and about biostats,i could nt figure stuff after reading kaplan.so i dont know what helps.
all in all,fair exam.just hoping the real baddies from molecular bio and experimental animals were the research questions.
things i should have read:more of biostats,katzung and ganong.rather than relying on only the notes.
lots of gross patho pics,cut sections,micrographs...but nothing out of the ordinary.
i have mixed reaction like everyone else when they are back.
but i guess it will be ok ....going by ppls scores afterwards.
will post my scores when i get them 
keeping my fingers crossed till then .
guys ,this forum has helped me so much.could get goljan notes cos of this forum.....they really helped me .
and it was encouraging to read ppls experiences .....
i hope to contribute in whatever way i can...

i am taking my exam on may ending. do u think kaplan is enough. some advice about last month preparation. i am so much tensed.
u will definetly pass with good score.

pharmac from kaplan is enough but to really get a grasp of the subject i feel katzung might be good for those who have the time ......

intensive prep only in march and april....
wish i had studied more though

i am sure u would have blasted the exam.
just envy u cause atleast u done with it.
i still cant decide wheather to take it on the 15th or postpone it

know what ....my friends tell me step 2 is what REALLY matters........so finish your step 1 asap and go for step 2.....once you postpone you lose the drive i think
dont postpone ,study hard and go for it !!!!!!!!!!

kerochi:yes my name might be familiar cos i was really hyper b4 my exam abd b4 oasis update ...so i posted a hundred times to seek support there is no tactics as such but i studied intensively for 2 months.used kaplan only plus goljan .did mcq s from q bank online and did nbme a week b4 the exam .i was determined not to postpone as i alwaysdo well only under stress.most imporatnt resource i will say is the q bank cos it gives you an idea what to study from the notes.
well,thats pretty much what i did .good luck.
rm:my nbme score was 470 and 480 a week b4 the real thing .i went thru kaplan notes thoroughly 3 times and many times thru small sections as and when i had a doubt.
ravi_online:thanks for your wishes .youhave plenty of time .i will say do kaplan very well,take q bank access for 3 months (i took only for a month cos of less time ).according to your preference supplement you notes with bigger books like ganong and katzung if you have time ....thats all...and keep visiting this forum....vry very helpful.

how many days would it take for mail to reach from philadelphia to alabama?
score reported on 25 may but still no score in mail
everybody seems to be getting theirs in one or two days .....
guess just have to waisome more days ........
