hi everybody who has taken the exam, i am solving kaplan q book and find many questions straightforward; i am wondering if the book represents the real exam questions; i don't want to waste time doing the book in my last month before the exam if the questions are far too easy compared to the real test; please therefore tell me if it is worth doing this book and if the real exam questions are anywhere like the questions in this book thanks gollum

Hey gollium ,Q bookis not that easy.If u find it that easy u must be really prepared for the test.I don't know how close to real test it is but it is just a litttle easier than UW and ppl say harder than Kaplan qbank.Keep doing it u'll always get apoint or two that wud help u in ur final test.Good job and good luck

Qbook/Qbank questions, like for step I, are not at all like step II questions. I didn't use USMLE world, but people say it is closer to the real thing. The trick with step II questions is that they are LONG, much longer than step I questions. But as long as you can manage the speed and can get through all questions in the alloted time, Q book/Qbank do allow you to correlate somewhat what kind of score you will get. Again, NBME is the best measure.

Check what year is your QBook. Some old ones might have questions with different formats from today's questions.
