I am so happy, my score report arrived. I got a 261/99. Was so confused after the exam but now i am so happy. I used First Aid 2004: absolutely essential, know it well and you can answer lots of questions. Kaplan notes: read them all. Contain the essential things and enough to score high. Additionally I used the following books, because i learn better, when I use different sources. BRS Behavioural Science: probably too much, only use it when you have a lot of time. Rapid Review Pathology: excellent source in my opinion. Lippincotts Illustrated Pharma: really nice written, but too lengthy. Kaplan is more time efficient. Lippincotts Illustrated Biochem: nice written + nice pictures. But not so important I would say. MOst questions are more basic in BC. BRS Physiology: top source. Tells you exactly the important things. Questions: I used Q Bank, Kaplan clinical vignettes and Q Book. I would do them all again. I think doing questions is essential to memorize all the little facts. Many questions are really similar to the real exam. But some are not, so be prepared if there are some confusing questions. I was so confused in the exam because I got some weird questions directly at the start. Also i want to thank everyone in this forum. I read a lot in this forum and used your advice for my preparation. Thank you. I wish you all the best :-)

Thank you I thought about that question yet, but its pretty difficult for me to answer that. I would say there were probably 5 weird questions per block and I think I have probably 7-10 Questions wrong per Block. But thats only a guess. In most Blocks I had a similar feeling as when doing Q Bank, so probably I was a little bit better than 80%. The first and last two blocks in my exam had more weird questions. I wouldnt think about that too much at all. Its important to do lots of questions befor (Q Bank, IV Bank, Q Book) and if you have good percentages you can be sure to get a good result. Just dont get in panic in the real exam, when you get weird questions, make a choice, mark it, dont waste too much time on it and if u can come back to it later. Good luck!!
