Pap smear result is ASCUS, what is the best next step? :?:

If the pt is reliable, repeat pap in 3 mo.if still ascus do colposcopy and biopsy.
If pt is not reliable(might not come back for follow up)go for colposcopy and biopsy.

There are two approaches. You had said one. This approach is less favored because of the greater number of follow-up visits and delays in the diagnosis. Thanks.
