Hi, im new to this forum and im trying to get some help to take the steps. Ive studying from the Blueprints series cause I have to take an exam here at my university, and i think id be able to take the Step2 in a few months, but do u think that it would be better if I take the Step 1 first, or there's no difference? Studying for the Step 1 will take me another 6 months cause I think Im not prepared for that now, but I would be able to do that if its better to take the Step 1 first. Thanks for ur help and advice.

You can definitely take Step 2 before step 1, I would even argue that it could be beneficial - a lot of step 2-stuff appears on step 1 (I would say that clinical knowledge helps you on 15-25% of the questions on step 1), but only a few percent of the questions on step 2 are step 1-like.
