Hi,
I am planning to take step 2 on may 3rd... I am doing 50-60% on usmleword. Planning to take the NBME this weekend. What shoud be my minimun score to be safe? Doing 50% at uw is enough?

First let me say, it all depends on your attitude, concentration and mental strength on the day of the exam. It would be a long day. Are you doing all questions timed? According to UW, 50-60% is a competitive score. Ofcourse if you are aiming for a 99, its not enough. Go through the correlations section under exam experiences and you'll get a better picture. Atleast for couple of days try to do UW 5-6 timed blocks straight, just to get a feel for the exam.
Good Luck with your exam. I'm taking Step2 CK on May 11.

Today I did more 2 blocks and scores 59 and 67%... This weekend I will follow your suggestion and take 5 or 6 blocks in straigth...
I am so tired of all these steps (I failed step 1 twice) that to be honest I don't care that much about my score...
By the way, the majority of the people that posted their scores, scored really high... so I wondering how much you need to score at UW to get between 80-85 in the step 2... Does anyone knows?
