A 56-year-old woman complains of a 10-lb weight loss over a 2-month period. She has generalized malaise and anorexia. She does not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. She has no past medical history and takes no medications. Three years ago, her colonoscopy, mammogram, and Papanicolaou smear were negative. Physical examination reveals a temperature of 100.4°F. Heart, lung, and abdominal examinations are normal. A 2-cm fixed hard nontender node is palpable in the right supraclavicular area. Which of the following is the most appropriate next step?
A. Chest radiograph
B. Colonoscopy
C. Mammography
D. CT scan of the chest
E. Papanicolaou smear

i think
chest xray,ct ct chest-pt is not a smoker.and lung cancer would nt spread to supraclavicluar without symptoms.

colonoscopy-any colon cancers,viscera-more left clavicular node involvement.

CA cervix by the time it reaches supraclavicular,pt will be dead by renal complications.

what do u think?
