Just got my results and I scored 87. I failed the first time I took it so am happy i passed but am worried it is not a good enough score. I want to do paeds. Also will the fact that i failed the first time count against me?

What do you think?

Stick with it you definitely have a good chance, do well with step2

just do the Kaplan Notes and USWORLD MCQ's. You will be fine.
