which enzyme requires Cu++ & what is the action of that enzyme

1)tyrosinase uses copper
It converts tyrosine to dopa (to eventually form melanin)

2)Also lysyl hydroxylase uses copper to form the cross links between the aldehydes of lysine

3)dopamine B hydroxylase uses copper and vitamin C in catecholamine synthesis(NE)

Lysyl oxidase requires copper (not lysine hydroxylase) as cofactor to form cross links def of which causes Menkes disease.
Lysine hydroxylase & proline hydroxylase req Vit c def of which cause scurvy

2)Lysyl oxidase-for crosslinking of collagen- in def leads to abnormal collagen,Arterial tourtuosity &rupture &osteoporosis
3)cytochrome oxidase-a com of ETC-IN DEF lead to cerebral degenertion(brain req ATP)

4)tyrosinase-enz for melanin sys-in def lead to depigmentation

5)also in superoxide dismutase
