because goljan sais that is a nephrotic and Kaplan a nephritic. Please Help me clarify this . Need Help please.

i think goljan said that IgA nephropathy was unique and didn't really fit into one category, but then he said it more nephritic b/c of the mild protienuria, but i'm not sure if it has rbc casts. actually, i am not sure y it would be nephrotic (now that i'm thinking about it)... i think u should really understand nephritic vs. nephrotic... nephritic mild protienuria, rbc cast, hypertension nephrotic massive protienuria, fatty casts with maltese cross, edema, hyperlipidemia, loss of charge (fusion of membrane) lastly, First Aid (2004) has IgA under the nephritic category as well. hope this helps...

yes IgA is nephritic.
