which of the following etiological categories is most commonly involved in female infertility

1. peritoneal factors
2. Ovulation factors
3. Tubo-uterine factors
4. cervical factors
5. unexplained infertility

yup,peritoneal.

shouldn't it be tubo-uterine instead of peritoneal factors?

can someone elaborate on why the answer is peritoneal factors. Examples???

"Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is the major cause of infertility worldwide. PID comprises a variety of infections caused by different bacteria that affect the reproductive organs, appendix, and parts of the intestine that lie in the pelvic area. The sites of infection most often implicated in infertility are in the fallopian tubes".

Then in Blueprints it says 40% due to ovulatory factor, and also 40% due to peritoneal/tubal factor.

My idea is that different sources give different answers. I wonder wich is the really correct answer?

I´d go for peritoneal (endometriosis)

But I´m not sure rolling eyes
