hi guys 40 yr male pt-mod-severe chest pain occuring after meals.not radiating .relieved by antaacids.and aggravated by reclining.pt c/o wt lossof 10pounds in 5months.2pack/day-smoking h/o.vitals stable.P.E unremarkable.chest xray,echo,ECG-normal.appropraite next step in this pt. 1-famotidine 2-anatcids 3-omeprazole. 4-esophagoscopy 5-ph monitoring please explain :?: :idea: .its soo confusing :evil: bye dev

I think its 4.. Esophagoscopy. This pt has clearly signs of Adenocarcinoma of Esophagus. If barium swallow was an option, I would pick it. Eventually everybody needs an Endoscopy. Hope I'm right.

its barretts esophagus complication of gerd, causing adenocarcinoma.
