Congrats to all who matched this year .All the best 
I,m IMG from India currently in UK in sugery
It would be on immense help if someone who got through residency help.
My credentials 2001 graduated,step 1 score 78(MRSC exams same Week) step 2 98 appearing for CS in july
Membership exam of Royal college of Surgeons -London
Currently MSc in a reputed university in Uk-part time
currently working in Surgery .keen to puruse surgery in US
What are my chances in getting Surgery residency in US 2006 :?:

your step 1 score is low for surgery. Your best bet is to finish your MRCS and maybe your MSc and then see. Hopefully someone out there in residency director land will like that. IMGs do get gen surgery.
