Q52 - A 36-year-old woman has a hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy because of uncontrolled hemorrhage. She is very concerned because her mother has vertebral compression
fractures due to osteoporosis. Which of the following is the most appropriate single treatment to prevent bone loss?

(A) Calcium, orally
(B) Estrogen
(C) Prednisone

B) Estrogen .
simple best Rx for hystrectomy pat.
combination pills for postmenopausal women

Estogen is she can tolerate it, if not a bone stabilizer like fosamax.(+sufficient Ca ,Mg, VitD) or alendronate,etidronate or pamidronate.
