Experiments have been done that say that retinoic acid can induce remission with acute promyelocytic leukemia. Such remission is due to the ability of retinoic acid to promote what? 1) diiferentiation of leukemic cells 2) differentiation of monocytes into macrophages 3) repair of DNA damage 4)Production of interferon 5)Gerneration of cytotoxic t lymphocytes

Ya it is diff: of leukemic cells thru interaction with abnormal retinoic acid receptors created by chromosomal translocation.... 8)
