Bursitis is the inflammation of the bursa, usually the subdeltoid bursa in the shoulder is affected, and its due to excessive use of the joint. Epicondylitis is the inflammation of an epicondyle or tissue joining the humeral epicondyle (tennis elbow). Hope this helps!
