Just got my score, 230/93. It is not perfect, but I can live happily with it. My exam is definitely a hard one. Much more difficult than both NBME 1 and the USMLE CD. The difficulty level of my test is most similar to the Kaplan online simulated test. I guess the exam does have hard versions and easier version. However, whatever version you get, the point is, the scoring system is very fair. I scored 540 in the easy NBME 1, it correlates so well with my hard real test. To those of you who are still waiting and worrying, if you have taken NBME and are happy with your NBME score, I think you should stop worrying and celebrate NOW! To those who have not taken the test, do take NBME. It tells you what you will score in the real test even before you take it!

Well I would beg to differ here. There are no hard and easy exams on usmle. Test is highly standardized and as long as they dont introduce adaptive testing, the relative difficulty of test will remain same for everyone. Now the difficulty of test is highly subjective. Maybe you didnt read the particular topic that was highly tested and somebody else was pretty strong on that so where that test will look lot difficult to you, the same exam will be lot easier for the pther person. [This is just an example.]

Thank you guys! berk, I am sure you did great. Trust yourself and GL. to nonstopdoc1 - Although I don't know by how much, it is for sure that difficulty of the test varies from test to test. The post exam feeling is very subjective, I agree. The point is, this feeling is not important. What matters is the pre-exam self evaluation, i.e., NBME.
