What is FOSTER KENNEDY SYNDROME??

The Foster-Kennedy Syndrome presents with papilledema in one eye and optic atrophy in the other. It is caused by raised intracranial pressure and optic nerve compression simultaneously. It is usually secondary to a tumor, like a meningioma of the olfactory groove or meningioma of the sphenoid wing.
