What is Randomization or randomized studies???
Plz explain in detail (if possible with an example)??

used in a clinical trial study that compares the therapeutic effects of 2 or more treatments or treatment & placebo. Drugs are assigned to pts. in a randomized manner so neither pts. nor investigator(M.D.) know the drug being given.

i think randomization is a randomized manner to select patients to one group or another. This solves the selection bias. If the investigator and the patient donīt know which drug is given thatīs called double blind study.
