hi! i will have to as in have to give step 2 after 45 days of step 1say june 6 step1 and step2 say 20june. ihad taken the NBMEform 1 for step 1and got a 550 was planin on taking the step1 in the first week of maybut due to some personal probs cannot. could anyone help me with what i could do as to study for both the steps together .It will be a great help if anyone could guide me. thanks

U seem pretty ready for S1 .I think u can take it ASAp.But if u can't do that for some reason start studying for S2.An may be a week or 2 befor S1 review ur S1.and then goback to S2 and take CK.I know easy to say that .Ideally u shud get S1 out of the way first.I hope I did not confuse u. Good luck

how's your ck prep? are you ready? have you been reading for ck too, or did you just prepare for step 1?

Thanx Hamidi, I think I should do that. And Bm,I've only prepared for step 1.I also need tips for step2 study material that I should use.

the references recommended in this forum are: crush the boards, blueprints series, and kaplan ck books. i think it's a matter of preference. go to the bookstore and scan the pages of the books i mentioned, then decide if you like them. if you know someone who's using kaplan ck, scan through them too. as long as you master only one set of references and not try to confuse yourself with too much material, then i believe you'll do fine and for questions, usmleworld seems to be the majority's favorite pick :wink: i agree with hamidi that you're all set for step1 go for it, as soon as your personal problems are out of the way. then give yourself time to condition yourself to step 2 style by immersing yourself with step 2 questions and comprehensive review book. :wink:
