71y manwith hypercholestrolermia and post right colectomy develops (pneumonia) fever ,.leucocytosis,xray shows left lower lobe infiltrate.which is most important history to ascertain before stating therapy? 1.influenza immunz 2.plasma lipid profile 3.stage of colon cancer 4.recent hospitalization

we should presume common causes first. colon cancer mainly metastasizes to liver.its very rare for it to spread to lung.
