i donīt know type 1 or 2 of schizophrenia. There are those types that comments Kerochi but thatīs all i know about types. Also that paranoid type is the type with the best prognosis.

T.J crow "theoritically" devided schizophrenia into type 1 and 2 .. (a stupid academic classification) type 1 has positive symptoms, is acute, reversible has no intellectual impairment ; CT is normal and responds well to neuroleptics. type 2 has negative symptoms is chronic, irreversible, there is sometimes a sort of intellectuual impairment , on CT venticles are dilated and respond to neuroleptics is poor.

well thats a classification only to remmember, that people with the positive symptoms u can give neuroleptics and the traditional antipsychotics but those with negative symptoms, that is type 2 u can give the new generation antipsychotics like clozapine
