i just want to know when exactly we need the Dean's letter?do we need it while applying for the residency?

Dean's letter is transmitted by eras on november 1. so u have to send it to eras before that. Remember eras takes about 7-10 days to upload it.

thanks for promptly replying to my question.i completed my undergraduate in India,i wont be able to get the dean's letter personally,do u know whether we can get it from the college without going?

You can get it when ever you want to. You will submit it with your other credentials to ERAS, but they won't release it until November 1.
