Hi guys
I want to apply for the eligibility period , but i dont know , how to start with ??  I live in Pakistan and I want to know if i would have to get my documents verified ? and how to make a payment ? dont ask me to go to the site coz its confusing , i want to get the simple idea of it first ... thanks

1) Decide when to take the exam
2) Go to http://iwa.ecfmg.org/ and start application procedure by clicking on 'Begin New Application'
3) There are 2 parts of application.. oneline part and postal part. Online part you can finish on the website. You can send money online through credit card.
4) For the other part you have to send them your photographs and medical diploma photocopies.
5) If you have your degree, its not compulsory to get your form attested by medical college dean, but if you dont have your degree then you ll have to get it attested from the medical college you graduated from.
6) Wait for 30-45 days after sending the application. You can check the status of your application meanwhile through the OASIS system.
7) After a month or so you ll receive a token to schedule your exam.
8) Now you are able to schedule the exam anywhere during the eligibility period selected by you.

hi there,
well i wanted to know that some one told me that if ur applyin for the first time u should use the paper application instead of the online application and that its better to do it this way.........does it really matters,and one more thing that how long before the exam should we apply for the regestration,wats the best time .

Shmiley, as far as I know it doesnt matter if you apply online or paper application even if you are applying for the first time. I personally like online as its easier.
About the time, the deadline for a three months ends 30 days before starting the period. For example for Jan-March the deadline for application would be around 30th Nov.
Applying as early as possible gives you a better chance to get a date of your own choice.
