A 50 yr old male reports that he has felt sick & weak for for last 10 yrs..he frequently changes physicians when they cannot find any thing wrong with him..He often misses work b/c he feels ill & he now fears that he has cancer....Physical exam: is unremarkable....

yes HYPOCHONDRIASIS-- pt's belief that he has some specific dse. despite constant reassurance & evidence of negative tests.
