I know the types of pervasive developmental disorder....
1)Autistic disorder
2)Asperger disorder
3)Rett disorder..
But I don't understand what is pervasive developmental D......what points are common in all types of this disorder...
So any one can explain this plz???

pervasive developmental disorders-- usually seen in childhood, pts. have the inability to go through a normal developmental stages, mostly motor & social skills.
there's a very good explanations of each disorder that differentiate them from one another in First Aid, behav. sc. section. p-129 (2005 ed.)
