Hi all
I made an application period from Feb to April 30 and had the scheduling permit
But in the process of application, ECFMG has cancelled it because they did not response the answer from my medical school
Now i did resolve this problem, yesterday i received a letter from ECFMG they said
"Your registration for the USMLE step 1 had previously been cancelled pending resolution of this matter. ECFMG has credited your account in the amount of the registration fee paid for the USMLE step1. You may use this credit to apply for another examination"
So my question is
Is there anyone who have the same problem ?
In this case does i only make an online payment on my financial account summary on OASIS ? and the scheduling period is still Freb-April or i have to make a new one ?
I send many emails to doctor William C Kelly of ECFMG, but i never got an answer, so Doesn't ECFMG contact by email ?

Hi there:
I don't understand why did that happen to you, because i also knew about that and just got a letter indicating that we have not recieved your certificate from your medical school so i called ecfmg (215-386-5900) and they told me that go and give your exam, its nothing to worry about and its our work.........I am giving my exam in May so I was worried.
You better call them or e-mail (credentials@ecfmg.org). ECFMG always e-mailed me regarding anything i asked.......but they responded almost a week later.
Have they also told you that they got a certificate from your medical school, i mean only u have resolved it or.....
In my understanding, u have to submit that fees again online, and they will process it again and i think that they would give you a new period....

Thanks for your response, finally i telephoned ECFMG & can resolved it today and they make me another new block April - May - June
It took me more than 2 months for the verification process, and i write to the same email above but maybe my email is so hateful so i did not receive any answers
