hey i was just reading through the posts and someone mentioned of an observership under a doctor which is like a sure shot LOR cause of the greater interaction ....at the same time from what i know shadowing is also under one particular doctor (correct me if im wrong) so .....i mean is it the same ....rather whats the difference

You can get a LOR both ways (observership and shadowing) The difference is that the observership counts as USCE but shadowing doesn’t, because is illegal, Check out this post – I think BBB explains it much better than me. http://www.prep4usmle.com/community/topic18426.ht... Regards,
