What are the Postage stamp test & snap gauge test to assess impotence???

Postage stamp test- used to rule out if impotence is due to organic or psychological cause. Can use plethysmography also.
Couples therapy is used if due to marital conflict

from what I remember;; postage stamp test -- stamp placed in the penis.. if pt had erection stamp falls off ( sounds funny) then pt most likely has psychologic problem not organic..
others i don't know.

snap-gauge test- This test moniters man's ability to achieve an erection during sleep.before going to sleep,place bands around the shaft of man's penis(may be strip of paper around the shaft and glue the ends of strip,which i saw in SEX AND THE CITY)........If the bands break during the course of the night,then it provides evidence for erection .Cause of impotence is not organic but more likely to be psychological.
