cataplexy is part of narcolepsy
other feature are hypnogagnic hallucination,,short REM,sleep paralysis.

Narcolepsy- excessive daytme sleepiness, feel refreshed upon awakening.
cataplexy- sudden loss of muscle tone that may have been precipitated by loud noise or intense emotion. No loss of consciousness in contrast to syncope.
