This topic is for posting programs that accept IMGs to do observership. I know for Internal Medicine Maricopa Medical Center, Pheonix, AZ. Please add your input.

I am a French IMG of Indian origin trying to match for 2007 match. I would like to have some information. 1) Which hospitals or clinics in chicago area offers observerships or medicine related observerships for IMG ? 2) Which hospitals in Illinois or near by states are IMG friendly? 3)With a low score in step 1 should I give up my American Residency dream? 4) What are the chances of me doing a highly demanded specialty? Thanks

Is 2 month US experience for Maricopa County Hospital "good to have" or is it "must have" ? Just in case how do you get the US Experience without doing observership ?

Im doing observation in Michigan, I was able to secure that through a connection so based on my experience you dont need a formal program to do so, you just need a willing sponsor at an institution. GL everyone hope this helps
