Genes on the bacterial chromosome have the following linkages in conjugal transfer----

x and y --- 25% of the time

y & z------- 50% of the time


If gene order is x-y-z, then x & z should be transferred together


a. 5% of the time

b. 13% of the time

d. 40% of the time

i think its 25%.50%=12.5% close to 13%
thats what i would pick

i agree, it 12.5 seems the logical answer.
