Heres the story guys.
IMG graduated 2003 and came to america same year.
Got a 17 $ / hr job and screwed up my studies / quit after 6 months.
Started Driving a cab/taxi at random days to pay for my exam fees.
Quit life in new york and went to norfolk to study at EVMS for 6 months.
Took the exam nov 16 th 2004. failed december 11 th 2004.
Score 177-73 %. (cannot figure out the week subjects on score report)
Reasons for failing multiple but now i took care of everything.
Got engaged march 2005  to my med school sweet heart.
Back to studies march 14 th 2005.
OLD plan :-
kaplan one read and first aid 4-5 reads but no memorization on both .
q-bank and q-book from MS word format one time.
NEW plan :-
I cant decide if i should or i can memorize all of kaplan or even read it again . it looks like a humungus task.
I know i must memorize first aid which will take at least 15 days.
and i still havta do goilan notes and audio which will take 7 days.
MS word format q-bank will take 14 days.
and i want to do online q-bank which is 30 days.(april 19 th to may 19th)
Thats 66 days total.
I know some how i have to merge these all together becoz information goes into my head one way and gets out the other side.
I am still working on the detailed plan.
Will write in a few hours wat my daily and hourly plan is going to be.
Taking the EXAM may 23 rd ( final) 66 days from today.
DONT WANT TO MISS THE NEXT MATCH.
OPen to suggestions.....

forget ms word kaplan. just get the real thing and don't forget to buy qbook if you don't already have it. You have to read the kaplan notes again...sorry buddy, no way around it.
This will be your plan.
Read the kaplan notes subject wise while working thru the questions in the book. REad the correseponding section in FA. AFter you've comleted each subject do the corresponding Qs in qbook. Do this till you work thru all the books.
Now you've read thru the books once.....
Read the kaplan notes again. After each subject do the corresponding Qs in qbank....if you want, you can add in goljan audio for path.
This should keep you busy for a while.

okay berk thats simple and easy.
new plan in light of my gurus (berk) new enlightment
its 03/21/05 today. 10:00 hours.
kaplan 4-5 days per subject = 28 days (with q-book)
repeat kaplan 3 days per subject = 21 days (qbank 100 x 21 = 2100)
7 days first and random qbank questions
7 days first aid repeat.
its a tough plan but i got no other choices.
exam on 23 rd as planned.
my bloack ends 31 may.

if I only had 2 months, myself. Your plan looks excellent.

Hey, I had a fall back plan in case I wasn't scoring up to par in Qbank after I had read the subject. I would do as many BSS Qs it took to raise my score. I could blow thru like 200-300 Q bss in a night and than I would go back to Qbank to see if my score went up. If it did, I would move on to the next subject. Since your only going to have 2 solid reads with the notes, you might want to try your best to make sure you are comfortable with your Qbank score for that subject before you move on to the next subject.

berk i got problems..i am not catching speed on my reading...i am too slow..if i go any faster i wont grasp the stuff....need advice on good reading and memorizing tips...doin golain for patho...with audios i got off cool goose...planned to finish in 5 days..not happening....YELP

slowly first, try to get as much as you can from it but don't go too fast that you can't comprehend. Don't worry about straight memorization just yet, not on your first read....take notes if you need to, but don't rush it. Its important to build a conceptual base that you can work with to add on stuff later. Just read it, and make sure you understand what you read at this point. Do the questions at the end of each chapter in kaplan, that will tell you if your getting the material down or not.

man plan plan gives golian only 5 days. and i got the first read done. NOW i dont have time for a second and third read. i think i am moving my exam block. 100 $ is it. Cant mess up again. wat do you say. 31 ist may is my last date for the block.

I am also having problem to finish FA (memorization) ! Here is an idea if we can work on this? Meet everyday in chat room to revise 30-40pgs of FA /day ?Which ed of FA you have?
