am an IMG who is looking out for some help regarding how much time will it take to prepare CS and which book is best for CS prep ,is there any need to read more than one book for this exam ?

It depends on an individual itself, some people find one month enough and some need more than a month for this exam. I took 40 days.
Most of the people prepare from usmle world plus one book (either first aid or kaplans cs book). uw is good for preparation.
Read old messages on this forum, you will get an idea about all of your questions.
