Which of the following is the most appropriate course of action

A. Notify the employer that he is positive
B. Notify the spouse that he is potive
C. Notify both his spouse and employer
D. Acess the medical records the patient's spouse to determine whether she has been screened for HIV infection, then decide whether to notify her
E. Maintain the confidentiality

i think its E. coz the spouse already knows of his status and therefore the infection is probably not a threat to his/her health. although the best advice is to ask the patient and the partner to come in together.... but since that is not an option.
the employer should not be informed without the patients consent.
