I got the news today, so excited, thanks for God, I hardly believe my eye 239/97, is it a high score. I prayed hard for it. I got it.
I am a chinese , now working in one of the hospital in Singapore, I pass my step 1 last year August with 228/92. since then i am working on step 2. hardly got time to study during the working time, I am working as a medical officer( residency), i took total 3 weeks for study, but i should say the working experience in GM is very important for my review of step 1 and step 2.
now i have applied CS,
I wish I will pass it as well. I believe hard work is well paid.

if it is not asking much f you now, could you tell abt your exam experience, what books you read, your scores in practice tests etc.

sorry for the late reply, since I got the news my wife was going to deliver when I was on call that night in the hospital . 3 days ago my son was born.
my experience is the same like some other ones posted.
kaplan lecture/notes,
usmleworld.
kaplan Q bank,
My feeling of such Q bank is the same as they experince. but luckly I know USMLE is also difficult for other ones, so I did not lose my heart when I got only 60s for the Q bank.
kaplan lecture is very good for O and G, pediatrics,
espicially O and G , since my O and G knowlege is nealy forgotten. but the embrology of step I help to review the OB. and because my wife was pregnant,that also inspire my interest in O and G. but any way, it is really fantastic lecture.
IM lecture are good as well, but my experience in internal med help me most. I really get good performance in IM even thogh some of the lectures I have not finished.
PSY lecture is more than enough,very detail.

that's great news that you are a father.
a q for you at this moment: did you get any epidemiology q's in the exam.what kind were they? is kaplan enough for them?
also what about peds? is kaplan enough or we need the blueprints.?

thanks, i will keep on.
I think epidemology in step 2 is not as difficult as step 1 , or may be because I did step 1 beforoe step2. but definately the kaplan lecture is enough for it, acturally is quite good.
but do prepare good for ped, espicially the respiratory and infections disease. because i got a lot of questions on that part.
I did not read blueprint, but I have a eye on first aid just before exam, which i foud is also quite good for memorizing the high yield topics. it is also good for Derm, because this part is not well covered by Kaplan notes.

Hi Congratulations for all your excellent score and good news.
I am preparing for step 2 now, I planned to take it end of this month.But after I did NBME its really low in 400. I had to resch it. The diagnosis showed that I am so weak in Ped and O&B. I am thinking if Kaplan lecture can help me that?
Could you share your experience that do you think its helpful. Since it's so expensive, I might try that 30 time visit. Do you think I can finish all the video in 30 visits?
Please give me some idea, I am really worried now.

just make sure when u listen to this lecture, take a notes, then review after that, u do not need to go back any more.
beside the lecture , most important is the notes. lecuter can only make notes easily understood. listen once should be enough.
