hi I am an IMG and new to this forum
I have recently took step 1 about 1 week ago and wanted to get match for 2006
is there any advice what should I do ?how should I proceed when to take step 2 ck and cs?
please reply

Well I would recommend you to take the rest of the steps as soon as you can, specially the step 2 CS (bs it will get difficult to get a spot on time, you need to have the appt as soon as you can to take the CS).
I took the step 1 on Apr last year, the CK on Aug and the CS on Nov...it was very stressful because I was almost left out of the Match. Remember, the application through ERAS bagan on Aug of 2004.
So if you can, go for the step 2 as soon as you feel you're ready. If you are living in the US get USCE (US clinical experience) which will help you a lot in your application, and try to get US LoR (letters of recommendation). Wish you the best of the luck...

actually i am living in US but how should I get clinical experience?
actually I have taken step 1 and will take step2 in aug probably and if than I take cs in nov than?
I recently got step1 result and got 82 which I cant believe
but still is my schedule right or not?

hi afds , it seemed that u r sailing in exactly the same boat as mine !! i m also kind of confused abt how to plan step 2 ck & csa... i also just gave my step one & wnat to apply 4 2006 match . if interested we could get in touch & p0lan some thing together .... very confused these days cry

hi squirells . have u got all ur prep materials for step 2 . i am using kaplan books with CMDT . i ave started working on usmleworld qbank . if u have any doubts mail me , will be glad to help

i havent yet started studying for step 2.. i m not waiting for my score report cuz that will take a long time, but i am waiting for oasis to be updated. i too my step 1 on 27th april so i ought to know if i passed or not by the 3rd week of may.
I m reading some medicine from my old school books just to pass time but i am not ready to stack up on step 2 supplies unless i have passed step 1. and if u read my post from that day.... my step 1 didnt go well....so i m not going to start studying until i ve passed step 1.
