Yes, Anno, I did buy from Barnes&Noble. It is one of the best book sellers in the States..............(and my favorite book shop, if u want to know ...) There's one good part and a bad one.... Good one: they DO ship outside the states Bad one: not in all parts of the world . Now i dont think ur country would be soooooooo far nor so unknown for them not to ship there......and if they ship, it would take up to a month for u to get them. ...which is ok, ur not close to any deadline, are u?? :P My advice is to register on their site and look for some more info there....i couldn't find any list of countries they ship to......but I even think u can mail them this question..............but u'll find out anyway after choosing ur books and placing the order.........they'll tell u automatically if ur country is on the list! One more good thing..........(am I not good to u today?? ).....after registering with them, they'll send u via email all kinds of monthly coupons, so u'll be able to get the books a little cheaper.... Hope this info will help!

Dan, the actual prices of the books are the same, but there are 2 advantages when buying from Barnes: 1. u get free shipping.....if u're inside the US, of course, which was my case.................. not anymore.... 2. those discounts i mentioned above..... I dont know the differences in shipping prices.......all i know is that B&N charge $4 per shippment + $2 per item...for the ones outside the states...........now u should be able to compare, coz u know the ones at amazon...... :P

Amazon also gives you free shipping inside the states. And i checked , you also have to pay tax when buying for Barnes & Nobble .Some books can be cheaper but shipping is cheaper at amazon and much faster.

Both Amazon.com and B&N r equally good and reliable.Since Barns & Noble have actual stores u can go see the books in the store as well(if u r in US and if u want to have a look at the book).Just search on their web site and buy from whichever is giving u a better deal.

I think both sites have similar prices for books. At Barnes&Nobble there is a $10 coupon.

Hi, I ordered books by Barnes twice. The prices is similar between Barnes and Amazon, but I have compared the cost of shipment and it is less expensive in Barnes. However, it is very expensive if you order a fast shipment (within a week). If you want to know how much it will cost you: price of the books + cost per shipment + cost per item -------------------------- Total (of course the last two, is according the type of shippment you order; it is more expensive if you order an express than by surface; of course when you order outside of US). I have another experience: I ordered several books by a local bookstore and it is cheaper because the books arrived within two weeks and if I paid for a two week shipment by Amazon or Barnes, it would be more expensive. The seller told me that some bookstores (they) use other big booksellers and they have discount for the order and shipment. Compare how many day the shippment will take buying from the local bookstore and compare its prices between them. Good luck

Perhaps the $10 coupon that the moderator is mentioning is OK ,but whenever I go to Barnes with one of there special discounts or a coupon they tell me its good for all books Except medical and I think law books (which make up a good % of there sales) I go to the main one on 5th ave and 18th St.
