hi I think if they have already given that pt has sickle cell anemia.then either she is presenting w/ one of the complications of it. so you have to ask in past history about the same compliant she is having at present.i.e whether she had similar problem in the past?
and also ask past medical history of any other dis other than sickle cell.
and previous hospitalizations.
I hope iam right!
