this website doesnt say anything about it..but can and do we give varicella in HIV?

I think in general,,chiken pox vaccination is not as such highly recomeneded IN immunisation

varicella VACCINATION in AIDS patient???? - no idea....

but aciclovir therapy within 12 hours is really effective..

Most will say no live vaccines in AIDS patients.

Just came across this today...

MMR is the only live viral vaccine that can be given in HIV positive individuals...googled it and apparently it is advisable for AIDS patients as well as as HIV positive individuals to get this vaccine.Heres the link...
